Award-winning organist to perform at 51成人

International award-winning organist, David Jonies, will perform in 51成人鈥檚 Rammelkamp Chapel on Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Jonies is known for his virtuosic performances of a varied repertoire. Described as an 鈥渋mpeccable鈥 performer, he enjoys an excellent reputation as a concert organist and church musician. The Germany native has appeared in concerts throughout the world, including Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, Westminster Abbey in London, the Czech Republic and South Korea. He has also performed around the United States with several professional organ and church music organizations. 

Jonies has served as associate director of music and organist at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago since 2006.

The concert is part of 51成人鈥檚 Fine Arts Series that brings a variety of inspiring and diverse musical performances to campus each year. Individual tickets for the 51成人 Fine Arts Series can be purchased for $15. Students of all ages receive free admission.
