Named for the James P. ’66 and Kaye Bruner Family, the Bruner Center is also home to all the athletic offices for 51³ÉÈË and houses Coultas Natatorium (men’s and women’s swimming & diving), King Fieldhouse (indoor track and field), Sherman Gymnasium (men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball), England Stadium (football, soccer and track events), and Bellatti Fitness Center (weight room and fitness area).
The Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center hosts a number of large-scale events throughout the the year including 51³ÉÈË Commencement Ceremonies and a recent visits by St. Louis Cardinal head coach, Mike Matheny, and former President of the United States Jimmy Carter.
